Praying the Scriptures

Saturday Morning Prayer

September 28, 2024

O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, those he redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. (Psalm 107:1–3)

Heavenly Father,

We give thanks to You this morning, for Your steadfast love endures forever. We, Your people, redeemed and brought from far places, gather in Your presence to proclaim Your goodness.

From the east and the west, from the north and the south, You have gathered us, not just in geography but in spirit. We were once wanderers in deserts of despair, lost in paths of uncertainty. Yet, in Your abundant mercy, You have delivered us.

As we face the new day, let our hearts remain grateful for Your unfailing love and Your wondrous works in our lives. Guide us through our tasks, watch over our journeys, and remind us constantly that we are never alone, for You have redeemed us.

We are gathered in Your name—let this togetherness strengthen our faith and broaden our horizons to love and serve more earnestly.

In gratitude and faith, we pray,

Amen.

I hope this prayer brings you peace and inspiration as you start your day.
