Praying the Scriptures

Sunday Morning Prayer

September 22, 2024

He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far he removes our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:10–12)

Heavenly Father,

On this peaceful Sunday morning, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for not dealing with us according to our sins nor repaying us according to our iniquities. As the heavens are high above the earth, so great is Your steadfast love toward those who revere You. You have removed our transgressions as far as the East is from the West.

Cleanse us anew with Your mercy and grace. Help us to walk in Your ways and to extend the same forgiveness to others that You have so generously given to us. May our lives reflect Your love today and always.

In Your holy name, we pray,

Amen.

I hope this prayer brings you peace and inspiration for your day.
