Tuesday Evening Prayer
October 1, 2024
Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.… Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. (Romans 12:12, 15)
Heavenly Father,
In the quiet of this Tuesday evening, we come before You, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and steadfast in prayer, as You have taught us through Your word. In the comfort of Your presence, help us to live in harmony with one another, sharing joy with those who are joyful and weeping with those who weep.
Grant us the grace to see Your hand in every moment of our day, both the trials and the triumphs. Teach us to lean into Your enduring hope, to endure challenges with a patient spirit, and to extend our hands in prayer and support for those around us.
As we rest tonight, let our hearts remain responsive to the needs of others, reflecting Your love and compassion. May our lives be a testament to the hope that is rooted deeply within us, the patience that endures through all adversities, and the prayers that rise ceaselessly to You.
In the name of Jesus, we pray,
Amen.
