Praying the Scriptures

Friday Morning Prayer

October 11, 2024

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:3–4)

Heavenly Father,

On this quiet October morning, with the leaves gently turning and the crisp air reminding us of Your renewal, I come before You in prayer. Lord, I trust in You, as You guide my steps and sustain my spirit. Help me to do good in all my actions, dwelling in Your land of mercy and feasting on Your faithfulness.

As the sun rises, painting the sky with hues of gold and amber, I delight in You, O Lord. Fill my heart with Your desires, aligning my will with Yours, so that I may reflect Your love and grace in everything I do. Let my life be a testament to the peace that comes from trusting in Your promises.

Thank You for the bounty of this season, for the harvest that fills our tables, and for the hope of abundant blessings. May my faith in You be as steadfast as the changing seasons, ever-rooted and flourishing for Your glory.

Amen.

May this prayer bring you peace and inspiration for the day ahead.
