Wednesday Morning Prayer
October 2, 2024
In you, O LORD, I seek refuge; do not let me ever be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me. Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily. Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me. (Psalm 31:1–2)
Heavenly Father,
In You, O Lord, I seek refuge; let me never be put to shame. In Your righteousness, deliver me and incline Your ear to me; rescue me speedily. Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me.
As we embark upon this Wednesday, I entrust myself entirely into Your protective hands. Guide me through the challenges of the day. Let Your presence be my fortress—impenetrable and secure. Amid the noise and haste, be my calm; in confusion and uncertainty, be my clarity.
Lord, fortify my spirit with Your peace, that I may face whatever this day brings with courage and grace. Help me to reflect Your love and righteousness in all that I do, serving as a beacon of Your eternal hope.
Thank you for Your unfailing protection and for the promise of Your salvation, which lifts me above my fears. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You, I wait all day long.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
