Father, you guide your people with kindness and govern us with love. Give us the Spirit of wisdom to understand the parables that Jesus used to teach about Your heavenly kingdom. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
