John 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.When we say that God always keeps His promises, it’s another way of saying that He always speaks the truth. In fact, He is the truth (John 14:6), and so we please Him when, in faith, we are honest with others about Him, even if it is difficult or costly to us.
