And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.Jesus Christ came into the world to be our Prince of Peace—something that far exceeds what we experience on an earthly level (John 14:27). He also came to be our Wonderful Counselor through the Holy Spirit (John 14:16–21; 15:26; 16:7–15). And He came to reveal Himself as our Mighty God (Matt. 1:23; 11:27; John 1:14; 14:9; Heb. 1:1–3). He came to restore our relationship with Himself—our Eternal Father (Rom. 5:10, 11; 2 Cor. 5:18–21; Col. 1:19–22). Finally, He came to make us one with Himself (John 17:21–23; Rom. 12:4, 5; 1 Cor. 1:30, 31; Eph. 4:3–6; Col. 3:14, 15).
