John 15:5, 8
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.… Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Jesus said that those who abide in Christ—draw near to Him, listen to His words, and obey Him—would bear much fruit and glorify Him. The Lord will never lead you into sin. When you are walking in the center of His will, He will show you what to do and teach you how to serve Him and fulfill the purpose for which He created you.
