Psalm 118:5-6
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?The psalmist’s rhetorical question shows his confidence that no matter what any person did to him, his life would remain within God’s control. God has promised to be with us always, even when things appear bleak.
