1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We don’t need to be afraid of the dark when the Lord gives us His light. We don’t need to fear our enemies when we walk in the power of God’s Spirit. John says, “Perfect love casts out fear.” That means we are secure because we know God’s perfect love protects us, no matter what our circumstances may be.
