1 Corinthians 13:4-5
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
Love is not merely a feeling—it is Jesus living in and through us. If we say we believe in God and are maturing in our relationship with Him, but we are not growing in our unconditional love for others, something is wrong with our walk. This is because as Jesus increases in us and we decrease, His loving nature should intensify within us as the evidence of His lordship in our life.
