Luke 1:46-47, 49
And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior… for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name.”
Mary’s spirit rejoices in God. She allows His Spirit to enter her soul and flesh. Through her mouth, with her emotions, she gives glory to the Lord, declaring He has done great things for her. She is prepared to receive a miracle and God blesses her. She is pregnant with the Holy One, The Babe, The Son of Mary—What Child is This?
