But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.As believers, sometimes the way the world functions may seem strange—even unconscionable. And often, we may be persecuted for our relationship with Jesus and the stand we take for what is right (Mark 13:13; John 15:18–20; 1 Pet. 4:12, 13; 1 John 3:13). But do not be discouraged—we are not home yet (John 14:2; 2 Cor. 5:8; Heb. 11:13).
