The Morning Prayer for Saturday, November 11, 2023

The Morning Prayer
Saturday, November 11, 2023

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
Exodus 20:2–4 (NIV)

Heavenly Father, in the stillness of this morning, we remember Your mighty hand that delivered us from bondage, just as You delivered the Israelites from the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

You are our only God, the One true God, and before You, we shall not have any other gods, nor shall we fashion idols in Your place.

Help us today to remember Your omnipresence in our lives, to place our trust solely in You, and to steer clear of any distractions or temptations that might lead us astray.

May our hearts always yearn for the pure connection with You, untouched by earthly distractions. Strengthen us in our resolve, Lord, to honor and worship You in all our endeavors today.

Let our lives be a testament to Your steadfast love and mercy. May we reflect Your glory and righteousness in every word we speak, every decision we make, and every step we take.

In Your holy name we pray, Amen.
Feel free to adjust the wording to better fit your own personal beliefs or style of prayer.
