But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
2 Peter 3:13 (NIV)

Heavenly Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth, we arise today with gratitude and hope, inspired by Your promise in 2 Peter 3:13, where we are reminded of the new heavens and the new earth where righteousness dwells. Lord, as we step into the light of this new day, let our hearts yearn for that glorious promise, aligning our actions and thoughts towards righteousness.

Guide us, O Lord, in our endeavors today, that we may reflect the spirit of Your kingdom, and in all we do, let our actions mirror the righteousness You desire. Let us not be swayed by the distractions and temptations of the world, but rather be anchored in the hope of the new creation You have promised.

Empower us, Father, to be bearers of hope, shining Your light in the darkest corners, sharing the good news of the world to come. As we navigate the challenges and joys of today, may we do so with a spirit of anticipation, knowing that Your promises are true and unchanging.

Thank you, Lord, for this precious day, a gift to move closer to You and to the righteousness You have called us to embrace. Bless our thoughts, our words, and our deeds, so that they may glorify You and be a testament to the hope we hold in our hearts.
