The Morning Prayer
Monday, December 4, 2023

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Revelation 3:10–11 (NIV)

Heavenly Father, as we awaken to the new day, we are filled with gratitude for your steadfast love and faithfulness. Lord, we thank you for the promise you give us in Revelation 3:10-11, that because we have endured patiently, you will keep us from the hour of trial and testing. Help us to hold onto your word and your promises, and to stand firm in our faith.

We ask for your strength and guidance as we face the challenges of this day, knowing that you are with us every step of the way. Help us to be a light to those around us, showing your love and grace in all that we do.

Lord, we also eagerly await your coming, as promised in your word. Help us to be prepared and ready, holding on to what we have, so that no one can take our crown. May we live our lives in a way that brings glory and honor to you, as we anticipate the joy of being with you forever.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
