John 6:35
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
When Jesus declares Himself as the bread of life, He is revealing that He is the true sustenance and nourishment for our souls. Just as physical bread sustains and nourishes our bodies, Jesus sustains and nourishes our spiritual lives. He satisfies our deepest hunger and thirst, which is a relationship with God.

The promise that whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty is an invitation to all who hear His words. Jesus is inviting us to come to Him and believe in Him, and in doing so, we will find true satisfaction and fulfillment that the world cannot provide. This is a promise of eternal life, which begins the moment we place our faith in Jesus and continues on into eternity.

This statement is also one of the seven I Am statements made by Jesus in the Gospel of John, each of which reveals an aspect of His divine nature and character. In this case, Jesus is showing us that He is the source of spiritual life and the only one who can meet our deepest needs.

Scripture from the Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV®.
In this powerful statement, Jesus is speaking to a crowd that had followed Him after He miraculously fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish. The people were seeking Jesus, not because of the signs and wonders He performed, but because they had eaten the bread and were full. They wanted Jesus to continue to provide for their physical needs. However, Jesus uses this opportunity to teach them about their deeper, spiritual needs.
