The Morning Prayer
Saturday, January 13, 2024

Be watchful, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (RSV)

Heavenly Father, as I awaken to the new light of this day, I invite Your presence to guide my steps. Inspired by Your words in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, I pray for vigilance to be watchful in a world that often challenges my faith.

Grant me strength, Lord, to stand firm in my beliefs, unwavering in the face of trials. Infuse my spirit with courage, not just to face the day but to embrace it with a bold heart, knowing You are with me.

In my quest for strength, let me not forget the core of Your teachings—love. Let every action, every word, and every thought be saturated with the love that You have shown me. Help me to extend this love to others, to act kindly, speak gently, and listen with an open heart.

As I navigate this day, keep me anchored in Your love and truth. May my life be a testament to the faith I have in You, and may my journey today reflect the teachings of 1 Corinthians, blending strength with love in every moment.
