Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that is taking place among you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, so that you may also be glad and shout for joy when his glory is revealed.
1 Peter 4:12-13 (NSRV)
Heavenly Father, as I greet the dawn of this new day, I come before You with a heart open to Your teachings and Your grace. Inspired by the words of 1 Peter, I seek the strength to embrace the trials and tribulations that life presents, not as burdens, but as opportunities to grow closer to You.
Lord, in moments of challenge, remind me that these are not strange or unexpected events, but part of the journey You have laid out for me. Help me to see in these trials a share in Christ’s own sufferings, and let this perspective bring me peace and even joy.
As I face this day, let me hold fast to the hope of Christ’s glory. May my struggles refine my spirit, and may my joys be a testament to Your enduring love and mercy. Guide me in Your wisdom, that I may respond to all situations with faith, patience, and an unwavering trust in Your plan.
Thank You for Your unceasing presence, Your boundless love, and the promise of Your glory revealed in my life. In every moment, may I seek to glorify You, rejoicing in the path You have set before me.
