The Morning Prayer
Wednesday, March 6, 2024

Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in holy splendor; tremble before him, all the earth.
Psalm 96:7–9

Heavenly Father, as the new day dawns, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Inspired by Psalm 96, we recognize Your majesty and the splendor of Your holiness.

Lord, we ascribe to You the glory and strength that is due Your name. We come into Your presence with an offering of our lives, committed to living this day in a manner that honors and glorifies You.

We worship You, O Lord, in the beauty of holiness. May our thoughts, words, and actions reflect the reverence we have for You. Let awe and wonder at Your great works fill our hearts as we contemplate Your creation and Your mighty deeds.

Guide us through this day, Lord. Help us to see Your hand in every moment, to hear Your voice in the stillness, and to feel Your presence in all we do.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
