Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
John 20:21
Gracious and Loving God, as the dawn breaks and a new day begins, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude. We thank You for the gift of life and the promise of Your presence with us always. In this quiet morning hour, we remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."
Lord, we receive Your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let it fill our hearts and minds, calming our fears and anxieties. May Your peace guide us through this day, reminding us of Your constant love and grace.
Just as You sent Jesus into the world, so You send us today. Empower us with Your Holy Spirit to be Your faithful servants. Help us to see the world through Your eyes, to love with Your heart, and to serve with Your hands. May our actions reflect Your grace and truth, bringing light to those in darkness and hope to those in despair.
Lord, give us the courage to follow where You lead, the wisdom to discern Your will, and the strength to carry out Your mission. Let our lives be a testament to Your love and a beacon of Your peace.
We offer this day to You, O Lord. Guide our steps, guard our hearts, and bless our endeavors. In all that we do, may we glorify Your holy name.
In the name of Jesus Christ, who sends us forth with peace, we pray. Amen.
