Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
Colossians 3:14–15
Gracious and Loving God, as the dawn breaks and a new day begins, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and hope. We thank You for the gift of this new day and the promise of Your presence with us.
Clothe us today with love, the perfect bond of unity, as Your Word in Colossians reminds us. May love be the driving force in all our interactions, thoughts, and actions. Help us to embody the compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience that love brings, so that we may live in harmony with one another.
Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, guiding our decisions and calming our spirits. In the midst of life's uncertainties and challenges, may we find our strength and assurance in Your peace, knowing that we are called to be one body in You.
Fill us with a spirit of thankfulness. Open our eyes to see the many blessings You have bestowed upon us, and let our hearts overflow with gratitude. In everything we do today, may we offer praise and thanks to You, our loving Creator.
We surrender this day to You, trusting in Your guidance and care. Lead us on the path of righteousness and fill us with the joy of Your presence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
