Thursday Evening Prayer
July 25, 2024
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands—O prosper the work of our hands! (Psalm 90:17)
Heavenly Father,
As the day draws to a close and the night unfolds, we come before You with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence. We thank You for the countless blessings and the guidance You have bestowed upon us throughout this day.
"Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands— O prosper the work of our hands!" (Psalm 90:17)
Lord, we seek Your favor upon us this evening. May Your grace rest upon our endeavors, our thoughts, and our dreams. Bless the work we have done today, and let it bear fruit that honors You. Grant us the wisdom to discern Your will in all we undertake and the strength to carry it out faithfully.
As we lay down to rest, we entrust our cares and concerns into Your loving hands. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Refresh our spirits and renew our strength so that we may rise tomorrow ready to serve You with renewed vigor.
Guide us through the night with Your protective hand, and let us wake with hearts that are eager to follow Your path. May our lives reflect Your love and mercy, and may we always seek to glorify Your name in all we do.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray.
Amen.
May this prayer bring you peace and comfort as you end your day.
