Praying the Scriptures
Thursday Morning Prayer
August 1, 2024
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”—these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9–10a)
Gracious and Loving God,
As the dawn breaks and light fills the sky, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude. Your word reminds us of the profound mysteries and the wondrous plans You have for those who love You, plans that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor human heart conceived.
Lord, we stand in awe of Your divine wisdom and Your boundless love. You have revealed to us, through Your Spirit, the depths of Your heart and the magnificence of Your promises. This morning, we open ourselves to receive Your guidance and to be filled with Your Spirit, who searches everything, even the depths of Your intentions for us.
Help us to trust in Your plans and to embrace the unseen blessings that await us. May we walk in faith, confident that Your Spirit will lead us in every step we take today. Let our actions reflect Your love, our words speak Your truth, and our hearts be a testament to Your grace.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of another day, for the promise of Your presence, and for the revelation of Your glorious plans. We surrender this day to You, seeking Your wisdom and Your will in all that we do.
In Jesus' name, we pray,
Amen.
May this prayer bring you peace and inspiration for your day.
