Praying the Scriptures
Thursday Morning Prayer
November 14, 2024
The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. (Jeremiah 33:14)
Heavenly Father,
As the chill of November whispers through New Mexico's landscapes, I come before You this morning, reminded of Your promises that never fail. Your word in Jeremiah tells us, “The days are surely coming, says the LORD, when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.”
In this season of waiting, teach us to trust in Your perfect timing. Just as the earth patiently awaits the renewal of spring, let us embrace the season we are in, trusting that You are at work even when we cannot see it.
Bless this day with Your presence, and guide our actions so that they might reflect Your love and faithfulness. As the sunlight gradually unveils the beauty of this land—from the mesas to the rivers—let Your light reveal the paths You have set for us.
In Your holy and enduring name, I pray.
Amen.
May this prayer bring you peace and inspiration for your day.
