The Morning Prayer

Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.
Daniel 7:27 (NIV)

Dear Heavenly Father, as we greet this new day, we humbly come before you with grateful hearts. In the quiet of the morning, we reflect on your sovereignty, power, and greatness, as described in Daniel 7:27.

Lord, we praise you for your everlasting kingdom and recognize that all rulers and kingdoms are under your control. We pray for our leaders and those in positions of authority, that they would govern with wisdom, justice, and compassion, and seek to do your will.

Help us to remember that we are your holy people, called to live according to your purposes and to spread your love and truth in the world. May we be instruments of your peace and ambassadors of your kingdom.

Lord, we ask for your strength and guidance as we face the challenges of the day. Help us to rely on you and to trust in your sovereign hand to guide and protect us. May we find comfort in knowing that you are in control and that your kingdom is everlasting.

We give you all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

May this prayer guide you and give you peace as you go through your day.
