And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
John 14:16–17
Heavenly Father, as we rise to embrace the gift of this new day, we seek the comfort and guidance of Your Holy Spirit, promised to us by Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. In the words of John 14:16-17, Jesus assured us of a Helper, a Spirit of truth, who dwells with us and in us.
We humbly ask for this Divine Counselor to be present in our hearts today. May the Spirit teach us Your truth and guide us in Your ways. Help us to feel the Spirit's presence in every moment, guiding our thoughts, words, and actions.
Grant us the wisdom to recognize Your truth and the courage to live by it. Let the Spirit of truth open our eyes to the needs of those around us, and inspire us to acts of kindness and compassion.
In every challenge we face, may the Holy Spirit give us the strength to persevere and the faith to trust in Your eternal plan. As we go about our day, keep us mindful of Your love and grace, which are new every morning.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
