For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption.
Romans 8:14–15a
Heavenly Father, as the new day dawns, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and awe for Your boundless love and mercy. We thank You for the gift of this new day, a fresh start filled with opportunities to grow in our faith and love for You.
Your Word reminds us that "all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption." We are humbled and overjoyed to be called Your children, adopted into Your holy family through the grace of Jesus Christ.
Guide us, O Holy Spirit, as we navigate the paths You have set before us today. Help us to walk in Your light, making choices that reflect Your love and wisdom. Strengthen us to resist the temptations that seek to lead us astray, and empower us to be beacons of Your love and truth in a world that so desperately needs it.
Lord, we surrender our fears and anxieties to You, trusting in Your perfect plan and unfailing care. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help us to live boldly and confidently as Your beloved children.
May our words, actions, and thoughts today bring glory to Your name and spread the message of Your redeeming love to all those we encounter. Thank You for adopting us into Your family and for the endless blessings that flow from Your loving heart.
