Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Matthew 24:35 is part of Jesus' discourse on the Mount of Olives, also known as the Olivet Discourse, where He speaks to His disciples about the end times, His second coming, and the signs that will precede these events. The chapter is rich with prophetic imagery and solemn warnings, emphasizing the impermanence of the physical world and the enduring nature of Christ's teachings.

In this powerful verse, Jesus underscores the transient nature of the physical universe contrasted with the eternal stability of His words. The phrase "Heaven and earth will pass away" serves as a stark reminder of the fleeting nature of all creation.
