Wednesday Morning Prayer
July 24, 2024
Do not, therefore, abandon that confidence of yours; it brings a great reward. For you need endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. (Hebrews 10:35–36)
Gracious and Loving God,
As the dawn breaks and a new day begins, we come before You with hearts filled with gratitude and hope. Your Word reminds us, "Do not, therefore, abandon that confidence of yours; it brings a great reward. For you need endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised."
Lord, grant us the confidence to face this day with boldness and trust in Your divine plan. Strengthen our resolve to persevere through challenges and trials, knowing that Your promises are true and faithful.
Help us to endure with patience and grace, doing Your will in all we undertake. Let our actions reflect Your love and our words bring encouragement to those around us. May we be steadfast in our faith, holding firmly to the hope we have in Christ Jesus.
Guide us, O Lord, and fill us with the peace that surpasses all understanding. As we journey through this day, may we find joy in Your presence and comfort in Your promises.
We ask this in the name of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
