Psalm 138:2

I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness; for you have exalted your name and your word above everything.

Psalm 138 is a hymn of thanksgiving attributed to King David, expressing gratitude and praise to God for His faithful love and truth. This psalm is particularly noted for its focus on God's goodness and the psalmist's personal experience of divine intervention and support. The entire Psalm resonates with themes of thankfulness, recognition of God’s omnipotence, and the impact of God's deeds on the believer's life.

In Psalm 138:2, the psalmist depicts a gesture of profound reverence and worship, bowing down towards God's holy temple.
