Praying the Scriptures

Friday Morning Prayer

August 2, 2024

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)

Heavenly Father,

As the new day dawns, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and joy. Inspired by Your Word in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, we rejoice always, knowing that Your love and grace surround us. In every circumstance, we lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving, trusting in Your perfect will for our lives.

Lord, help us to remain steadfast in prayer, seeking Your guidance and wisdom in all we do. Teach us to give thanks in all circumstances, recognizing Your hand at work even in times of trial and uncertainty. May our hearts be ever filled with praise, and may our lives reflect Your joy and peace to those around us.

Guide us today to walk in Your light, sharing Your love and compassion with everyone we meet. Let our words and actions be a testament to Your goodness, as we strive to live out Your will in our daily lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May this prayer bring you peace and inspiration for the day ahead.
