Praying the Scriptures
Monday Morning Prayer
August 26, 2024
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long. (Psalm 25:4–5)
Gracious and Loving God,
As the dawn breaks and a new day begins, I turn my heart to You, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. Teach me Your ways, O Lord; show me the paths You have laid out for me. In a world filled with uncertainty, let me walk in Your truth, steadfast and unwavering.
Guide me in Your righteousness, for You are my God and my Savior. My hope is in You all day long. Lead me by Your Spirit, that every step I take may be a reflection of Your will and Your love.
This morning, I surrender my plans, my thoughts, and my desires into Your hands. Mold them, shape them, and align them with Your perfect purpose. Grant me the patience to wait on You, the courage to follow where You lead, and the faith to trust in Your timing.
Fill my heart with Your peace, my mind with Your wisdom, and my soul with Your strength. May I walk today in humility, kindness, and compassion, showing Your love to all whom I encounter.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Be with me now and always, as I seek to walk in Your light.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.
May this prayer bring you peace and strength as you start your day.
