Saturday Morning Prayer

August 24, 2024

With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (Ephesians 6:16)

Heavenly Father,

As we rise to meet the new day, we arm ourselves with Your unwavering shield of faith. We trust in Your mighty power and loving protection to guard our hearts and minds against the challenges and temptations that await us.

Lord, just as You instructed us through Your Apostle Paul, we lift the shield of faith to quench the flaming arrows of the evil one. We ask for Your grace to keep our faith strong and resilient in the face of trials and adversities.

Help us to walk confidently in Your promises, knowing that You are with us, guiding and protecting us through every moment. May our faith in You extinguish every doubt, fear, and deception that seeks to veer us off Your righteous path.

Strengthen us, O God, to bear witness to Your truth and love. Let our lives reflect Your light and hope to those around us. As we face the day, may our actions and words be testimonies of the faith we hold in our hearts.

We commit this day to You, secure in the faith that You are always beside us, our Fortress and Shield.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray,

Amen.
