Praying the Scriptures
Tuesday Morning Prayer
August 27, 2024
Hear, O LORD, when I cry aloud, be gracious to me and answer me! “Come,” my heart says, “seek his face!” Your face, LORD, do I seek. Do not hide your face from me. (Psalm 27:7–9a)
Heavenly Father,
In the gentle light of this new day, I turn to You, seeking Your presence with an open heart. Hear my voice when I call, O Lord; be gracious and answer me. My soul whispers Your name in the quiet moments, and I seek Your face among the shadows of dawn.
Do not hide from me, nor turn Your servant away in anger. You have been my help; do not abandon or forsake me, O God of my salvation. As the sun rises, dispel the shadows of doubt and fear that cloud my vision.
Guide me in Your truth, and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You, I wait all the day long. Let Your light shine upon my path and lead me in Your ways. I trust in Your unfailing love and infinite wisdom, today and always.
Amen.
May this prayer bring you peace and guidance as you start your day.
