Tuesday Morning Prayer

October 29, 2024

Happy are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance; they exult in your name all day long, and extol your righteousness. (Psalm 89:15–16)

Heavenly Father,

On this brisk October morning, as the light gently spills across the New Mexican horizon, I come before You in prayer, rejoicing in the joy of Your presence. Blessed are those who know the festal shout, who walk, O Lord, in the light of Your face.

As the sun rises and fills the sky with hues of gold and amber, I feel the warmth of Your love and the steadfastness of Your righteousness. Your joy is my strength; the echoes of Your glory resound through the stillness of my soul.

In Your Name, I move through this day with a heart full of praise, celebrating the rhythms of life that You set before me. Teach me to live in harmony with Your will, to tune my every deed and word to the melody of Your truth.

As the leaves turn and the chill of the season deepens, let my spirit cling to the warmth of Your light. May I walk in the happiness of those who hear Your call, who know the joy of Your salvation, and who live under the canopy of Your grace.

In the name of Jesus,

Amen.

May this prayer bring you peace and guidance as you start your day.
