Monday Morning Prayer

November 25, 2024

The LORD is king! Let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! … The heavens proclaim his righteousness; and all the peoples behold his glory. (Psalm 97:1, 6)

Heavenly Father,

On this brisk November morning, as the New Mexican sun rises with its golden hues across the mesa, I stand in awe of Your reign. "The Lord is king! Let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!" Your sovereignty is a blanket of comfort that wraps around this land and its people.

Lord, the heavens proclaim Your righteousness; all the peoples see Your glory. As the light touches the peaks and valleys of this beautiful state, I see reflections of Your majesty. The earth reveals Your artistry; the skies declare Your skill. Help me to walk today in that light—aware of Your presence, guided by Your wisdom.

Stir in me a spirit that seeks Your righteousness, that I may reflect Your glory in my words and deeds. May my actions bring joy to Your heart as the dawn brings warmth to the day.

In Your holy and mighty name, I pray,

Amen.

May this prayer bring you peace and strength as you start your day.
