Praying the Scriptures

Monday Morning Prayer

February 3, 2025

For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (Galatians 3:26-27)

Loving Father,

As the soft light of dawn kisses the desert floor and the cool breeze dances across the sand, I pause to marvel at Your creation. The mountains stand as steadfast sentinels, reminding me of Your unshakable love, and the golden warmth of the rising sun assures me of Your promises anew.

Today, I rejoice that I am Your child through faith. As I step into this new day, I remember that through my baptism, I have been clothed with Christ. May I wear His compassion, humility, and love as my garment, reflecting Your grace in all that I do.

Here in this quiet moment, beneath the vast expanse of Your southwestern sky, I am reminded of the unity You have created in Your family. In Christ, there is no division—only the beauty of belonging and the joy of purpose. Let this truth guide my words and actions, drawing others to the hope and peace found in You.

Thank You for the blessings that surround me: the crisp desert air, the enduring strength of the mountains, and the opportunities You provide to share Your light in this corner of the world. Strengthen me to walk boldly as Your child today, embracing each moment with gratitude and faith.

In the name of Jesus, who is my covering and my joy, I pray.

Amen.

May this prayer bring you peace and strength as you start your day.
