Tuesday Morning Prayer

September 23, 2025

Therefore it is said, “When he ascended on high he made captivity itself a captive; he gave gifts to his people.” (Ephesians 4:8)

Lord,

I wake this Tuesday morning with gratitude for the gift of a new day. The cool air greets me with freshness, and the golden light of autumn rests gently upon the earth. The turning leaves and the promise of harvest remind me of Your steady hand in every season, both in nature and in my life.

Your mercies are new again today, and I thank You for the faithfulness that never fails. Yesterday’s burdens do not linger where Your grace is present, and I step into this morning with hope, knowing that You go before me.

Grant me strength to meet the tasks ahead with courage, patience to walk with others in kindness, and wisdom to discern the path that honors You. Like the fields awaiting their harvest, may my life today bear fruit that glorifies Your name.

As the day unfolds, I place my trust in Your guidance. May every breath be a reminder of Your nearness, every challenge an opportunity to lean on You, and every joy a reason to give thanks. I begin this Tuesday resting in the assurance of Your love and stepping forward in the light of Your promise.

Amen.

May the God of steadfast love guide your steps, renew your spirit, and fill this Tuesday with peace and hope.
