Monday Morning Prayer

January 19, 2026

“For you are our father, though Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us; you, O LORD, are our father; our Redeemer from of old is your name.”Isaiah 63:16

Holy Father,

As the dawn breaks over the Florida Mountains this Monday morning, the high desert air is crisp and sharp with the chill of January. The world here in Deming feels suspended in the quiet of winter, yet in this stillness, I turn my heart toward You, acknowledging You as our true Father and Redeemer. I feel the weight of the week ahead and the remnants of my own hesitation, but I rest in the assurance that You have known and named us from of old, holding us secure even when the seasons change and the winds blow cold.

As the sunlight begins to flood the valley, dispelling the lingering shadows of the night, I ask for the grace to bear with my brothers and sisters in love. I confess that my own strength is often frail and my patience easily tested, but I trust that Your power is made perfect in this very weakness. Help me to see beyond the surface of disagreements and differences, recognizing Your Spirit at work in the hearts of others, and grant me the humility to offer patience and understanding where I might otherwise offer judgment.

Send me out into this new week with a quiet confidence and a renewed sense of purpose. Let me not despise the small moments of connection or the humble acts of service, knowing that You are capable of bringing profound growth and unity from the tiniest seeds of faithfulness. May my life today be a reflection of Your enduring mercy, bridging divides with gentleness and walking steadily in the hope that You are guiding every step toward a greater peace.

Amen.

May the God of all comfort strengthen us to bear with one another in love, so that we may walk together in unity and reflect the light of our Redeemer to the world.
