Saturday Morning Prayer

January 24, 2026

“I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in chaos.’ I the LORD speak the truth, I declare what is right.” — Isaiah 45:19

Almighty Father,

In the crisp silence of this Deming morning, I come to You seeking the clarity that only Your presence can provide. The high desert air is still cold, and the world around me rests in a winter slumber, yet I know You are not hidden in chaos or lost in the shadows. As the sun begins to crest over the eastern mountains, illuminating the vast, open sky, my soul stirs with a longing to know You more deeply, stepping away from the noise of the week into the assured quiet of Your truth.

I thank You for the gift of baptism, that sacred seal which binds me to Your family and reminds me that I do not walk this path alone. You have spoken righteousness and declared what is right, cutting through the confusion of my human weakness with the steady light of Your promises. Even when my faith feels small and the way forward seems uncertain, I trust that You are at work, transforming my frailty into a vessel for Your strength and weaving my life into the greater tapestry of Your people’s unity.

Grant me the quiet confidence today to believe that You are bringing forth growth from the smallest of seeds, even here in the desert of my own limitations. Let my heart be open to the changes You are cultivating within me, and help me to embrace this Saturday with a renewed sense of purpose and hope. May I walk in the light of Your revealed truth, trusting that Your power is sufficient to carry me through, and that Your love is the firm foundation upon which I stand.

Amen.

May the God of peace, who unites us all in love, guard your hearts and guide your steps as you walk together in His light.
