Tuesday Morning Prayer

January 20, 2026

“Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”Isaiah 41:10

Almighty God,

As the sun begins to crest over the Florida Mountains this Tuesday morning, the high desert air is crisp and piercingly cold. The quiet of January rests heavily on the land, a stark reminder of the stillness that winter brings to this corner of New Mexico. In this silence, I come before You, shaking off the slumber of the night and seeking the warmth of Your presence before the labor of the day begins. The world outside appears dormant, yet I know that beneath the hard, frosted ground, life is waiting to spring forth at Your command, just as my spirit waits for Your awakening touch.

As the light spreads across the valley, I am reminded of the bond of peace You desire for all Your children, a unity that often feels distant in a fractured world. It is easy to feel small and overwhelmed by the uncertainties of life, to feel the weight of my own weakness against the vastness of the challenges ahead. Yet, You whisper to my spirit not to be afraid or dismayed, for You are my God. I lean not on my own understanding or limited strength, but on the assurance that Your righteous right hand upholds me. In the cracks of my own frailty, Your strength is made perfect, and where I see only limits, You see the potential for unity and grace to grow.

Grant me the courage to walk through this day with a steady heart, trusting that You are with me in every moment. Help me to be an instrument of Your peace, bridging divides and offering kindness where there is discord, knowing that true strength lies in gentle faithfulness. Let my confidence rest not in what I can achieve on my own, but in Your power to bring growth and change from even the smallest acts of obedience. May I move forward now with a renewed purpose, knowing that You are my help and my shield, guiding my steps on this path of trust and hope.

Amen.

May the God of all peace uphold us together, binding our hearts in unity and strengthening our spirits to walk fearlessly in the light of His love.
