Praying the Scriptures
Tuesday Morning Prayer
February 10, 2026
“On that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; he sets up victory like walls and bulwarks. Open the gates, so that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for in the Lord GOD you have an everlasting rock.” — Isaiah 26:1-4
Lord,
The air is sharp this Tuesday morning here in the high desert, and the February wind carries a chill that lingers even as the sun begins to crest over the Florida Mountains. The world feels vast and silent, suspended in this short month that bridges the depth of winter and the distant promise of spring. I come to You in this quiet stillness, aware of my own smallness against the expanse of the endless sky, seeking a steadfast spirit to anchor me before the noise of the day begins.
Just as the dawn light fractures the lingering gray of the horizon, I ask You to break through the uncertainties and worries that cloud my mind. You are the Rock eternal, the unshakeable foundation when my own strength feels as shifting and dry as the dust around me. Where I see only walls and limitations, teach me to see open gates; where I feel the frailty of my human efforts, remind me that true peace is found not in my striving, but in resting entirely on Your enduring power to sustain me.
Let confidence rise within me now, knowing that You bring life and change even from what appears dormant and barren. Take the small seeds of faith I offer today—my simple duties, my interactions, and my quiet hopes—and cultivate them into something lasting and good. I step out into this day with a heart fixed on You, trusting that You are guiding my path through this season and directing my steps with perfect purpose.
Amen.
May the Rock eternal keep all of us in perfect peace, steadying our hearts and guiding our feet as we walk together into the light of this new day.
