Friday Morning Prayer
August 16, 2024
Trust in him, and he will help you; make your ways straight, and hope in him. You who fear the Lord, wait for his mercy; do not stray, or else you may fall. You who fear the Lord, trust in him, and your reward will not be lost. (Sirach 2:6-8)
Heavenly Father,
As the dawn breaks and the light of a new day floods our lives, we turn our hearts towards You in gratitude and trust. Your Word guides us in every step, and this morning, we draw inspiration from the wisdom found in Sirach 2:6-8.
Lord, we place our trust in You, for You are our eternal refuge and strength. Help us to stay firm and resolute in our faith, even when trials and challenges come our way. Remind us that You are always with us, guiding us with Your loving hand.
Grant us the courage to remain steadfast, to wait patiently for Your promises, and to believe without wavering. Strengthen our hearts so that we may embrace Your wisdom and walk in Your ways with unwavering faith.
We seek Your guidance and wisdom this day, trusting that You will lead us on the right path. Fill us with Your peace and help us to lean on Your understanding, not our own. May we be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, reflecting Your love and patience in all we do.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and mercy. As we go through this day, may our faith be a testament to Your goodness, and may our actions bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
