Praying the Scriptures
Wednesday Morning Prayer
August 28, 2024
The LORD is king, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed, he is girded with strength. He has established the world; it shall never be moved. (Psalm 93:1)
Gracious and Almighty God,
As the dawn breaks and the world stirs to life, we come before You in awe and reverence. Your Word declares, "The Lord is king, He is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed, He is girded with strength." We stand in the presence of Your majesty this morning, acknowledging Your sovereignty over all creation.
Lord, You are clothed in splendor, Your power is unshakable, and Your throne is established from of old. As we begin this day, may we find peace and confidence in Your eternal reign. Help us to trust in Your strength, knowing that no force on earth can stand against Your will.
Guide our steps today, O Lord, that we may walk in the light of Your truth. Clothe us with humility, fill us with Your Spirit, and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. May our actions reflect the beauty of Your holiness, and may our hearts be steadfast, grounded in the knowledge of Your enduring love.
As the waves of life rise and fall, remind us that You are the One who rules over the seas and calms every storm. In Your hands, we are secure, and in Your presence, we find our strength.
We lift this prayer to You, our King and our God, trusting in Your majesty and rejoicing in Your unending grace.
Amen.
May this prayer bring you strength and encouragement as you go about your day!
