Praying the Scriptures
Monday Evening Prayer
July 7, 2025
Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)
Gracious and Faithful God,
As the moon lifts its quiet glow behind the Florida Mountains and the first stars begin to shimmer in the stillness, I rise into this new day wrapped in the hush of Your promises. The desert around me sleeps, yet my spirit stirs with hope—because I know You are near.
You have called me to hold fast to the confession of my hope without wavering, and this morning I choose to do just that. Not because I am always strong, but because You are always faithful. When doubts whisper and shadows stretch long, I remember that Your Word is sure, and Your love endures beyond the night.
Let the silence of this early hour remind me that You are at work even when all seems still. As the stars fade and the dawn begins its slow unveiling, renew in me a steadfast heart. Shape my thoughts, my words, and my steps to reflect the hope I confess in You.
Today, I will not waver. I will trust. I will hope. Because You, O Lord, have promised—and You are faithful.
Amen.
May the faithful promises of God guard your heart through the night and anchor your hope for the day to come.
