The Morning Prayer for Saturday, March 16, 2024

The Morning Prayer
Saturday, March 16, 2024
Therefore I will allot him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:12
Heavenly Father, as we awaken to the new light of this day, we humbly come before You, inspired by the profound message of Isaiah 53:12. We remember how Your beloved Son, Jesus, poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors, bearing the sin of many and making intercession for the transgressors.

Lord, in the spirit of this powerful scripture, we ask for Your grace to embrace this new day with a heart of service and sacrifice. May we, like Jesus, pour ourselves out in love and humility, seeking not our own glory but the well-being of others. Teach us to be agents of Your peace, to bear the burdens of our fellow beings, and to intercede for those who are lost, hurting, or wandering.

As Jesus made Himself an offering for sin, help us to offer our daily tasks, our joys and struggles, as a living sacrifice to You. Guide our thoughts, words, and actions, so that in everything, we might reflect Your love and mercy.

Grant us the courage to stand in the gap for those who are marginalized and oppressed, remembering that in serving the least of our brothers and sisters, we serve You. Fill our hearts with compassion and our lives with purpose, that we may faithfully fulfill the call You have placed on each of us.

We thank You for the gift of this new day. May it be a testament to Your unending grace and a reflection of the love shown by Your Son, Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

May this prayer serve as your guide throughout the morning, providing you with a sense of peace and forgiveness as you navigate through your day.
