The Morning Prayer
Saturday, December 9, 2023

But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 4:29 (NIV)

Heavenly Father, as we start our day, we seek Your presence with all our heart and with all our soul. Just as You promised in Your Word, when we seek You, we will find You. Help us to seek You in every moment and in every situation we face today.

Lord, open our eyes to see Your hand at work in our lives. Open our ears to hear Your voice guiding us and leading us in Your ways. Fill our hearts with a desire to know You more and to follow You more closely.

In the busyness of our day, help us to pause and take time to be still in Your presence. May we find rest and peace in You, and may we be refreshed and renewed as we spend time with You.

We give You thanks and praise for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. Thank You for being with us, and for never leaving us or forsaking us.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

May this prayer bring you comfort and guide you throughout your day.
